Introduction


The ITR Tracker is a robust, end-to-end Income Tax Return management platform designed specifically for Indian Chartered Accountancy (CA) firms. It streamlines the entire ITR filing lifecycle—from data collection and document verification to review, e-filing, and case closure. With secure, compliant, and role-based workflows, the system ensures accuracy, transparency, and accountability. It improves collaboration among partners, managers, staff, clients, and auditors, while strictly adhering to Indian data privacy laws and ICAI’s Code of Ethics.


Problem Statement


Traditional methods of managing ITR filings often involve scattered communication, manual data tracking, inconsistent documentation, and lack of centralized audit trails. These issues lead to missed deadlines, duplication of work, data security risks, and inefficiencies in review and approval processes. As the volume of client filings increases, CA firms find it challenging to maintain standardization, enforce accountability, and meet statutory compliance requirements without a structured and automated system.


Objectives


To provide a centralized system that manages the complete lifecycle of Income Tax Return filings.


To automate workflows, reminders, and documentation to reduce manual errors and delays.


To ensure transparent review processes with two-level verification by staff and managers/partners.
