About the Programme:
AI in ICAI is pleased to announce the 8th Faculty Identification Programme (FIP), a two-day programme for AI professionals who wish to become faculty for the Artificial Intelligence for Chartered Accountants (AICA) – Level 1 Certificate Course.
The programme aims to identify professionals who have good technical knowledge, practical experience in Artificial Intelligence, strong communication and presentation skills, and the ability to effectively train Chartered Accountants.
Participation in the FIP will be subject to shortlisting based on the applicant's profile and video submission.
Registrations:
Registration Fee: NIL
There is no registration fee for the programme. ICAI will provide meals to participants during the programme at the venue.
Please note: Submission of the registration form does not confirm participation in the FIP. Participation will be confirmed only after shortlisting by AI in ICAI.

Eligibility for AICA Faculty:
Preference will be given to Chartered Accountants who:
- Are AICA Level 1 Certified;
- Have prior teaching or training experience; and
- Have good knowledge and practical experience in AI concepts, tools, applications and use cases.
Participants who have attended any earlier Faculty Identification Programme are also eligible to apply for the 8th FIP.
Profile and Video Submission:
- Professional Profile/CV: Applicants must upload their latest professional profile/CV to Google Drive and provide the shareable link in the registration form. The Google Drive access must be set to "Anyone with the link can view." If the profile/CV cannot be accessed, the application may not be considered for shortlisting.
- Short AI Use Case Video: Applicants must submit a short video of maximum 120 seconds demonstrating an AI use case. The video should demonstrate presentation and communication skills, facial expressions and overall presentation presence, and relevant technical content explaining the AI use case. The video may be uploaded to YouTube or Google Drive, and the link should be submitted in the registration form. Applicants must ensure that the submitted links are accessible to anyone having the link. Inaccessible links may affect the shortlisting process.
WhatsApp Group:
After submitting the initial registration form, applicants are required to join the WhatsApp Group through the link displayed after submission of the Google Form.

Shortlisting & Confirmation Process:
The enrolment process will be completed in the following stages:

Stage 1 – Initial Application:
Complete the registration form and submit:
- Professional profile/CV
- 120-second AI use case video
- Stage 2 – Shortlisting: Applications will be reviewed based on the profile and video submitted. Shortlisted applicants will receive a confirmation email from ai@icai.in.
- Stage 3 – Travel & Accommodation Details: After receiving the shortlisting confirmation, shortlisted participants will be required to complete a second Google Form and submit their confirmed travel details/tickets. Travel and accommodation requirements will be finalised only after the required details have been received and verified.
- Stage 4 – WhatsApp Group for Shortlisted Participants: Shortlisted participants will be required to join the official WhatsApp Group: 8th AICA FIP | 5th & 6th Sep 2026 | ICAI Gurugram Branch, Gurugram (Shortlisted Participants). Important programme instructions and updates will be shared through this group.
Travel & Accommodation:
Participants are required to make their own travel arrangements and reach the venue by 10:00 AM on Saturday, 5th September 2026.
For eligible outstation participants, ICAI will provide accommodation on a double-occupancy basis for the night of 5th September 2026 only.
Note:
- Accommodation will be provided only to eligible outstation participants.
- Accommodation will be subject to prior approval and availability.
- Priority will be based on the order in which confirmed travel details are received.
- Participants from Delhi/NCR will ordinarily not be eligible for accommodation.
- Participants requiring accommodation on 4th September or 6th September 2026 will have to make their own arrangements at their own cost.
- ICAI will provide one-day accommodation only to eligible participants for the night of 5th September 2026, on a double-occupancy basis, at a hotel located near ICAI Gurugram Branch, Gurugram. Check-in and check-out timings will be as per the hotel's policy.
- Luggage may be kept at the hotel/reception after check-out, subject to the hotel's policy.
- Participants may plan their return journey after the programme concludes on 6th September 2026.
- Any additional accommodation will have to be arranged and paid for by the participant.
Programme Schedule & Evaluation:
During the two-day programme, prospective faculty members will be evaluated on their:
- Technical knowledge
- Practical understanding of AI
- Presentation and communication skills
- Classroom delivery
- Ability to answer questions
- Overall suitability as AICA faculty
One-to-One AI Use Case Presentation:
Each participant will deliver an 8–10-minute presentation before the Evaluation Panel on a practical AI use case relevant to the AICA Level 1 Course. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session with the Evaluation Panel.
Participants will be evaluated based on technical knowledge, practical application, innovation, clarity of presentation, presentation skills, and responses to questions raised by the Evaluation Panel.
Important Note:
- The topic of the proposed AI use case shall be finalised and developed by the participant based on the concepts, tools, and learning covered under the AICA Level 1 Course.
- The proposed use case must be unique, innovative, and originally created/developed by the participant.
- Participants must present the complete details and working of the use case, including, wherever applicable, the problem statement, methodology, prompts used, code, input/output files, supporting files, and any other relevant material required to demonstrate the use case effectively.
- The use case presented before the Evaluation Panel must be different from the use case/presentation already presented during the classroom sessions of the AICA Level 1 Course.
- Participants should ensure that the use case is practical, demonstrable, and relevant to the application of AI in the professional domain.
Classroom Presentation:
Each participant will deliver a minimum 5-minute classroom presentation on a topic of their choice. The topic of the Classroom Presentation shall be different from the One-to-One Use Case Presentation.
The presentation must follow the prescribed 4-slide format:
- Problem Statement
- Technology Solution
- Implementation Plan
- Conclusion
The presentation will be delivered before the participants and evaluation panel. After each presentation, fellow participants will provide their feedback and rating through a designated Google Form.
Group Discussion:
Participants will take part in a Group Discussion as part of the evaluation.
Each group will ordinarily have at least five participants. Topics will relate to the AICA Course and current issues concerning the use of Artificial Intelligence in the Chartered Accountancy profession. Each Group Discussion will normally be 10–20 minutes.

- Subject knowledge
- Clarity of thought
- Communication and articulation
- Participation
- Teamwork
- Listening skills
- Overall contribution to the discussion
AI Technical Quiz:
Participants will also take part in an interactive AI Technical Quiz conducted by experts.
Questions may cover:
- AICA Level 1 course modules
- Practical AI applications and use cases
- AI tools and technologies
- Latest developments and trends in Artificial Intelligence
The experts will assess participants' technical understanding, practical knowledge and ability to explain AI concepts clearly.
Important Instructions:
- Initial registration does not guarantee selection for the FIP.
- Applicants must submit their profile/CV and 120-second AI use case video with the initial application.
- Only shortlisted applicants will receive confirmation from AI in ICAI.
- Shortlisted participants will be required to submit confirmed travel details/tickets through a second form.
- Accommodation will be confirmed only after the required details have been received and approved.
- Accommodation is subject to eligibility and availability.
- Participants must attend the programme on both days.
- Participation in all prescribed evaluation activities is mandatory.
- Final selection/empanelment as AICA Faculty will be based on the participant's overall performance during the Faculty Identification Programme.
