2. Objective
The objective of this project is to automate the reading, verification, and secure storage of official Indian documents like PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, and GST Certificate using advanced AI techniques. This aims to reduce manual errors, accelerate KYC/business verification and enhance authenticity using verified APIs and artificial intelligence.
3. Problem Statement
Traditional document verification relies on manual effort, making it slow, error-prone, and unscalable. Non-linked PANs lead to blocked financial transactions, higher taxes, and compliance penalties as mandated under Section 139AA. Existing processes cannot cope with the rising demand for digital KYC and business registration, resulting in critical bottlenecks and increased costs for professionals and clients.
4. Proposed Solution
The system uses AI-based OCR for automatic extraction of document data and integrates intelligent data matching algorithms to semantically verify extracted details against official government and third-party APIs. GST details for businesses are fetched via APIs, and all verified records are stored securely for future compliance and audits. The AI handles spelling errors, case mismatches, and formatting inconsistencies, improving accuracy and confidence levels.
